COMMITTEE MEMBERS

Greetings from Loughgall!  We are a small community with a big heart, set among the apple orchards and farmland of County Armagh. Many of us have lived here all our lives, others are  “blow-ins”. I came here over 40 years ago, and am now as firmly rooted as the trees of the ancient yew walk of Loughgall Manor. We have the essentials of modern life – unless, that is, you classify hypermarkets, skyscrapers and motorways in that category.

Nonetheless we are not isolated. The nearest motorway is but five miles away, a mainline railway station six miles, and a large area hospital seven miles. We also have many features that you might not expect to find in a small Irish village and its surroundings. Loughgall has a long and unique history, a beautiful natural lough (lake) after which it takes its name, and much more. In this website, we try to bring you a flavour of the village, past and present. Now that you have visited our website, why not visit us in person?
